Daily Distraction: Holiday A@#$HOLES

Black Friday 2008 is now over, and it has left a disturbingly bad trend in its wake – there are more A@#$OLES every year. Shoppers this holiday season have shown more awful behavior this year than in years prior, due in part to stores offering more and more ridiculously good Black Friday deals. Tech Loop is very worried about the lack of concern for our fellow shoppers on the busiest shopping day of the year and we only see it getting worse next year. Unfortunately, a Wal-Mart greeter was trampled to death at a New York Wal-Mart this past weekend as shoppers broke the door down to cash in on the deep discounts the store was offering. This gives new meaning to the word “door-buster” and new meaning to the word New Yorker – you are now officially the biggest jerks to ever walk the face of the earth. We hope that all of those involved are caught and charged with murder, or at least manslaughter and we also hope that Wal-Mart gives the greeters family millions upon millions for not protecting this poor worker – it is ultimately their fault.

And more recently, video has surfaced of Wal-Mart shopping idiots fighting like 3-year-olds over the last XBOX 360 console. We here at Tech Loop love gaming just as much as the next guy, but to disregard other humans the way the people in this video do is disgusting. Is getting an XBOX 360 really that important? We think not.

These people makes us sick. They are the same types of people that killed the man at the NY Wal-Mart.
